When you see a doe cross the street, pause, take a breath, say a prayer for safety, whatever, just pause-she likely has not just one, but TWO fawns behind her. Wait for the first fawn, then pause again, and wait for the second. The people behind you can wait, and might even silently thank you for saving them the image of seeing a fawn get hit. We owe it to our wildlife to keep them as safe as we want our pets to be.
